A day at the Zoo

This was a little depressing for me as it was hard to see all of these animals cooped up, especially the gorillas. The lead male was just sitting in front of the glass looking back at me with a look that I'm finding hard to put into words... looking at a primate that's so similar to us has definitely left a lasting impression. Alas, no photos though - out of respect I decided not to be just another tourist jamming his/her camera against the glass for a photo.
